250 years ago today, Great Britain repealed the Stamp Act of 1765 which the American colonists so vehemently disagreed with. It imposed a direct tax on the colonists and required that many printed materials in the colonies be produced on stamped paper from London which included an embossed revenue stamp. A majority considered it a Good News Network.
